“WAYS OUT OF THE CRISIS: INVESTMENTS TODAY, RESULTS TOMORROW”
Santa Margherita di Pula, 24 april 2009
In a very complex situation for economies and markets, each of us needs to analyze the possible ways to react to a context in such rapid evolution.
Difficult situations need responses equal to the significance of the problem.
From this point of view, Fimit decided it was a good idea to organize a debate to discuss the different positions on the economic crisis that Italy is going through and its consequences for Institutional Investors.
With the Seminar Fimit organized a reflection on the best strategies for the future starting from the current crisis, and from an analysis of the causes and consequences, and outlining the first proposed solutions.
The resource allocation policies of Institutional Investors were described, proposing and discussing opportunities for the future from the points of view of both investment and action to benefit the community.
During the Seminar the subjects tackled included the reasons for which institutional investors decide to choose indirect property investment instruments, such as real estate funds, what to expect from this type of product and how these instruments can help to protect their assets and boost economic development.
The Seminar listened to the opinions of the leading Italian Institutional Investors including privatized Pension Funds, Complementary Pension Funds and Banking Foundations. Representatives of leading Industrial Associations, Italian and foreign Universities, Advisors active in Italy and the Media also contributed their opinions.
