Fimit, in partnership with Nomisma, one of the leading companies operating in the Italian and European field in the market of economic, social and real estate, is preparing a study, purpose-made for the Conference, on the Italian real estate industry aiming to offer a panoramic view of the market and of the aspects that attracted foreign investments, with the following main objectives:

build a framework of reference to describe the attractive and competitive role of the Italian economic system, in relation to other countries, identifying the macro factors that have determined the trends;

identify the main trends that have characterized cross-border real estate investments into Italy: the type and features of the players, their origin, the main transactions and the reason why;

understand the size and to describe current cross-border property investments in Italy, identifying any differences compared to the past and analyzing the characteristics;

analyze the instrument of Italian real estate funds and the associated industry, identifying the main features that make it attractive for foreign capital;

trace the path of development of the industry, highlighting how our country and real estate investments made here are currently perceived, and to identify the appealing reasons, the opportunities and the critical issues compared to cross-border investments, providing ideas for reflection on how these factors can be exploited in the future.
